DIY Daily Shower Spray

Give yourself a little bit of a break with this daily shower spray instead of scrubbing for hours to keep your shower clean!

Materials:

  • ½ Cup Hydrogen Peroxide
  • ½ Cup Rubbing Alcohol
  • 1 Teaspoon Dawn Dish Soap
  • 3 Cups Water
  • Spray Bottle – I recycled mine
  • Measuring Cup
  • Funnel (optional)
Materials needed for daily shower spray

Step 1:

Clean your shower really well like you normally would so you can really give the daily shower spray a chance!

Step 2:

Remove any labels if you’re recycling your spray bottle like me and rinse out really well. Make sure you also fill up the bottle with water, and spray the water through the nozzle to make sure that is fully cleaned out as well. You will see a distinct difference in the spray when just water is coming out.

Step 3:

Add all of the ingredients to the bottle using a funnel (if you’re messy like me), except for the water.

Step 4:

Slowly add the three cups of water. If you add it too fast, it will bubble over and make a big mess! Not that I know anything about that! 😉

Step 5:

Add a cute label to the bottle if you’d like to be able to identify it and leave it in your shower. Although, I wouldn’t recommend using the chalk board labels because the chalk writing has come off in the shower! lol

Step 6:

After every shower, spray the walls and floor of the shower with the spray. No need to rinse!

  1. I’ve been using this shower spray now for a few weeks and love it! Prior we were squeegeeing after daily showers and We kept getting build up on the tile from the plastic squeegee that I would have to continually scrub off. This is so much easier. Wondering if I could add an essential oil to give a better fragrance?

  2. I LOVE this spray! It works great and I can also say, I added some essential oils and it works just as well either way. It does smell just fine without adding anything too, so personal choice. Thanks for the great mix!

  3. I recently had a local tile cleaner deep clean my shower and bathroom floors and they commented that I could switch over to natural cleaners since all the storebought ones I use leave residue buildup. So, I’m excited to try this cleaner out and see how it compares. Could I add essential oils to this recipe?
