Finger Knitted Necklace

Looking for a fun loving handmade necklace you can make pretty quick? This is such a neat little project to whip up with some yarn and your hand! 🙂

Materials:

  • Yarn of choice for base color
  • Yarn of choice for accent color
  • Scissors
  • Hand

Materials needed for a finger knitted necklace

Step 1:

Hand knit with your base color of yarn with the finger knitting method. Knit it until it reaches the length 65”.

Step 2:

Tie off the two ends and tie them together. Cut off any excess.

Step 3:

Cut about a yard of your accent color and tie it to the necklace rope. Lay the tail of the yarn along the necklace and wrap the yarn tightly along the necklace covering up the yarn tail as you go.

Step 4:

Wrap the end of the accent yarn around the last wrapped piece. Tie a knot, cut the excess and tuck the knot into the wrapped yarn so it’s hidden in the design.

Step 5:
