Quickly whip up this delicious recipe for any group or occasion! Crowd pleasing recipe from our friend, Richard!
Ingredients:
- 6 Cups Rice Krispies Cereal
- 1 ½ Cups Karo Light Corn Syrup
- 2 Cups Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1 12 oz Bag Chocolate Chips
Step 1:
Combine the Karo syrup and 1 cup peanut butter in a microwavable bowl. Microwave for 1 minute and then stir. Microwave for another 30 seconds if needed. Mixture should be smooth and free of any clumps.
Step 2:
Pour the Rice Krispies into a bigger mixing bowl. Add the peanut butter mixture and mix until well coated.
Step 3:
Press the mixture into a 9 x 13 pan with a spatula and make it as smooth and even as possible.
Step 4:
In the same bowl you used for the karo and peanut butter mixture, add the additional cup of peanut butter and chocolate chips. Microwave for 1 minute and mix. Microwave for additional 30 seconds at a time mixing in between until smooth and fully combined. Be careful: The chocolate will be hot!
Step 5:
Pour the chocolate mixture on top of the Rice Krispies in the 9 x 13 pan. Smooth to cover the entire surface.
Step 6:
Cool in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Cut and serve!
