Materials:
- Yarn (I used this Wool Yarn in Dark Grey Marl)
- Size 7 (4.5mm) Knitting Needles
- Cable Hook
- Scissors
- Yarn Needle
Step 1:
Cast on 26 stitches
Step 2:
Knit 5 rows
Step 3:
Repeat the next 8 rows until you reach your desired length. Mine is 42″ inches.
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Knit 10, Purl 6, Knit 10
Row 3: Knit
Row 4: Knit 10, Purl 6, Knit 10
Row 5: Knit 10, move 3 stitches to the cable hook and to the back, knit 3, knit 3 from cable hook, knit 10.
Row 6: Knit 10, Purl 6, Knit 10
Row 7: Knit
Row 8: Knit 10, Purl 6, Knit 10
Step 4:
Once your scarf is as long as you want it to be, Knit the last 5 rows and cast off.
Step 5:
Place the right sides of the scarf together. Thread some yarn on the yarn needle and sew the two ends together. Tie a knot and cut any excess yarn and weave in ends.

Do you take requests, lol? I would love to see a small version as a headband/earwarmer! I can follow a pattern but I’m terrible at modifying them, even just to change size!

I cannot knit to save my life but this is gorgeous! I can crochet like nobody’s business just don’t ask me to knit 😂
