Love the look of shawls but don’t feel comfortable in your crochet skills to complete one with a complicated pattern? (Or is this just me?) This shawl pattern uses the C2C block technique, but you never do the decreases! Super simple!!

Materials:
- One skein of Caron Cake (I used Blackberry Mousse)
- Size L/7 mm crochet hook
- Scissors
Step 1:
Chain 6.
Double crochet (DC) into the 4th chain from the hook. DC into next two chains. Turn block.
Every row will begin with this when you are increasing: Chain 6. DC into the 4th chain from the hook and into the next two chains.
Interior blocks: Slip stitch into the next chain 3 space on the next block to connect them. Chain 3. 3 DC into the same chain 3 space.
Slip stitch to connect next block and repeat.
Here’s the video I did for the C2C dishcloths, but you just won’t do the decreases! 🙂
Step 2:
Continue increasing until you reach the end of your skein! Mine is 40 blocks across with just a tiny amount of the skein left. You will never do the decrease stitches like you would on the traditional C2C stitch! I told you it was simple! 🙂
