Materials:
- Two twin sized Flat Sheets in whatever pattern or color you choose!
- Scissors
- Iron
- Curtain Rod
Iron out all of the wrinkles on your flat sheets from being inside the packaging.
Locate the top of the sheet and on the inside of the sheet, cut a small 1 inch hole just along the corner of the sheet on both ends. NOTE: Pinch the fabric together being careful not to gather the outside or front of the fabric as well to start your hole.
Hang your curtain rod where you would like it on the wall using the instructions that were provided with your rod. The twin flat sheets are 66” wide and 96” long!
Step 4:
Attached your curtains to your curtain rod by sliding the post through the hole you created on the top of the seam. Attach your finale to help it stay in place. Repeat for the second one on the other side!
I love this idea! Thanks
So glad you like it, Connie! Thank you! 🙂
Love this tip cannot wait to try this on my own ……thank you
You’re so welcome!! I’m sure they’ll turn out amazing!!
This seriously just saved me such a headache and a ton of money for curtains for our pop up! Thank you!
Yay!! I’m glad you enjoyed them!!
I realise this is an old post but I used to do this in the ’80’s. I also bought the same sheets in a double size (2 x flat) and sewed them together to make a quilt cover. Matching set!
Brillant!
Sooooo, what about the bottom hem?
The bottom already has a small hem that I just left alone!
THANK YOU! I bought a bamboo roller shade for my porch to have some privacy from my neighbors, it was too sheer. I used one queen flat sheet and it worked perfect not to mention it is so cute!! I wish I could post a picture!!
That’s amazing!! Feel free to send it to me on IG – @MichaeliMarler
