Easy German Chocolate Cookies

Make these delicious cookies from just a few ingredients, including cake mix! 

Ingredients:

  • German Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter
  • Coconut Frosting
  • Hershey’s bar

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2:

Combine cake mix, eggs, and butter together in a medium sized bowl until fully mixed.

Step 3:

Scoop out cookie dough and roll into golfball sized balls. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper to avoid sticking and place cookies 1-2 inches apart.

Step 4:

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cookies are golden brown.

Step 5:

Let the cookies cool completely and then frost each cookie with the coconut frosting.

Step 7:

Break up the Hershey’s chocolate bar and place in a microwavable safe container. Microwave for 30-40 seconds; stir and repeat if necessary until it’s completely melted.

Step 8:

Put the melted chocolate into a small baggie and snip a small piece of the corner off so you can drizzle the chocolate on the cookies.

Step 9:

Display your cookies and enjoy! YUM! 

(NOTE: If you’re not a fan of coconut frosting, they are also delicious plain!)
