Materials:
- Ladder Yarn (Similar to this)
- Scissors
- Clasps (These are what I would have purchased if I didn’t find what I was looking for)
- Measuring Tape
- E6000 Super Glue
Step 1:
Cut strips of 25” each of the ladder yarn. I cut about 40-45 pieces. You can cut more or less depending on how full you want your necklace to be.
Step 2:
Gather the ends together. Twist and trim the excess on the ends to make it straight if they are not already straight.
Step 3:
Add super glue to the inside of the cap closure. Try to spread the glue in the middle and on the sides of the cap so there’s good adherence.
Step 4:
Put the twisted end of yarn into the closure with the glue. Hold it for a few minutes to secure. You may need to use the end of your scissors to push all the yarn down inside if you don’t get them all inside correctly.
Step 5:
Repeat steps on the other side. Lay aside to fully cure and dry.
Absolutely stunning! Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you!
Where can I find those clasps?
I found them at Michaels Craft Store!
What size are the clasps?
Hi Kathleen,
I updated the link in the materials page, but I would get something that is 8mm or so! Or if you want it thiner or thicker, you can adjust as needed! 🙂
Thank you!
