This baby blanket is so soft and cuddly and easy to knit using stockinette stitch!
Materials:
- 1 Skein Bernat Blanket Brights
- 1 Skein Snuggly Wuggly Yarn
- Size 15 (10 mm) Knitting Needles
- Scissors
- Crochet Hook (optional for weaving in ends)
Step 1:
Cast on 50 stitches using either the long tail cast on method or the knitting method.
Here’s a short video on how to do both of those cast on methods for this blanket.
Step 2:
Knit for the first 5 rows on both the right and the wrong side. Also known as Garter Stitch.
Step 3:
Work in stockinette stitch for the next 85 rows (knit on right side, purl on wrong side)
Step 4:
Knit for the last 5 rows on both the right and wrong side. Also known as Garter Stitch.
Step 5:
Cast off in knit. Tie off the last stitch.
Cut extra yarn and weave in ends using the crochet hook or your fingers.
So cute! Looks cuddly, too!
Keep on writing, great job!
